Terrence Ross hints at retirement after 11-year NBA career

Veteran NBA guard Terrence Ross has hinted at the possibility of retiring after 11 seasons of playing. During a recent broadcast, Rose expressed his exhaustion and desire to leave basketball.

"Man, I'm not going to play anymore. I'm going to retire." Rose said. Rose said, "Waiting to say it, but I'm heading down that road. I kind of think that I'm not going to play anymore."

Rose, 32, last played in the NBA during the 2023 season with the Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns. He averaged 8.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 63 games.

The former Slam Dunk King and eighth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft has earned more than $91 million in career earnings. He is known for his athleticism and high scoring explosiveness, including a career-high 51 points in 2014.

While Rose has yet to make a definitive decision on retirement, his comments indicate that he is ready to leave basketball. He may officially announce his retirement in the near future.
